2014年7月1日實施基本月薪調至1萬9,273元

勞委會8月28日宣布：

• 每月基本工資自2014年7月1日起，調整至1萬9,273元
• 每小時基本工資自2014年1月1日起，調整至115元。

勞委會表示，相較於2013年4月1日的基本工資金額，本次調整幅度使月薪部分增加226元，時薪增加6元。

勞委會指出，未來不會每年調整基本薪資，自2014年1月1日起，必須要在年度消費者物價指數年增率累計達(含)3％以上時，才會召開基本工資審議委員會。

Starting from Jan. 1, 2014, the basic hourly wage will be adjusted from NT$109 to NT$115 while the basic monthly wages will be adjusted from NT$19047 to NT$19273 beginning on Jul. 1, 2014. After the adjustments, if any wages agreed upon between the worker and the employer should fall below the said standards, such wages shall be readjusted according to law.
